They say that Hush Puppies is a cult world brand that initiated daily comfortable footgear named “casual”. But what is Hush Puppies and why doest it have this name?
Hush Puppies Company history throws back to the USA where the shoemaker having visited his clients saw basset puppies. They were running across the house and barking for the whole evening. The puppies interrupted their master from his communication with the guest and he shouted at them “Hush, puppies!” The shoemaker liked the puppies so much that he decided to call his footgear “Hush Puppies” and the basset hound representative became the “person” of the brand.
In the year 1958 Hush Puppies became the first brand in the world to create the shoes in casual style. And soon its footwear became popular due to its unique style and casual character. This year Hush puppies will be 50. Today it is sold in 130 countries.
Hush Puppies is a company that has solved problems of many people that had difficulties with footwear. This high quality shoes will give health and comfort to everybody. Hush Puppies shoes is based on scientific approach.
Its shoes material is usually chamois (soft and tender, velvet and warm), kid leather (made of goats) and grinding leather (made of compact leather).
Its lining is made of natural leather and has good air permeability. Moreover there is a pseudo lining among the top of the shoe and its lining. This pseudo lining is developed from the soft material and provides one’s foot with extra comfort.
Hush Puppies shoes has 2 insoles. Anatomical insole does amortization and protects from bacteria due to its coal impregnation. Mould insole outlines the foot shape and therefore controls the foot. There are also a few types of soles here. “Zero G” technology sole is made of the mixture of polyurethane, rubber and porous rubber and has a very light weight.
“Wave Reflex” technology sole made of rubber and latex provides the sole with flexibility and durability.
“Float FX” construction is filled with gas in calcaneal part and gel in toe one.
Company’s heat insulation material includes natural fur, compact textile fabrics and Thinsulate™ (a special material that saves the air and is waterproof).
The company has recently created a new footwear collection called «Dual-fit». This line shoes have loose leather lining inside that provides it with flexibility and comfort. It can be put out if the client’s foot increases for some reason or other. «Dual-fit» collection will come into the market next year. Now the company is developing another line of shoes that will solve other orthopedic problems.
